Jabaré is a self taught artist, born in Quincy, Fl. His paintings and sketches are bold and subtle at the same time. His goal as an artist is to encourage self-awareness by emphasizing self-importance and appreciation. These pieces of art are very reflective, capturing a scene or person while revealing a facet just slightly out of sight.
Like some other great artists throughout time, his whole purpose in life, his raison d’être, is his art and consequently, he is often homeless. The North Florida weather makes this a little more bearable but still, the struggle is sometimes ferocious. And yet, he creates such incredible works of art.
Because it is art and because of his circumstances, each piece is entirely unique. These are not prints, these are original oil works.
